Sunsets downtown

Got new sunglasses from a vendor on Kensington, the perfect faux wayfarers.

Haha, this squirrel was posing by my tree, Bob. Wearing Vint black dress and loafers, Aldo bag.
Spent the past couple of days going downtown, strolling around Kensington and having a swell time as well as working. I don't know if you can tell but the top part of this dress is actually supposed to be a halter, I changed it around so the panel of tulle was higher instead of around the stomach area and made it all in all, more flattering. The detailing is amazingly beautiful. I changed later that night to have sushi with my friend at this amazing place on Kensington. The best tempura and bento box ever. I find myself craving for sushi all the time, enough of fast food joints!
For those of you waiting to hear about the Chickdowntown contest, I'm pleased to announce the winner! Congrats to Jessica Esteban who wrote me this:
what i love about summer
it's not down to one word or one activity
but a collective of quenching watermelons downed alongside a friend and a lover--oceanside, cool winds, warm sun, warmer company, the aroma of your neighbor's cut grass, long days, ray ban vision, living on a suitcase, wedding bells, night breezes crawling up a yellow tent dress, dishevled hair, the sound of sandals clipping against the heel, burning pavement, pistachio gelato melting with every minute passed, sweltering heat, driving down the highway all windows down, waiting for your date at the cinema, waves crashing, street performers by the dozen, the crowds of people shopping downtown, burning orange sunsets, transient loves, i love this spectrum,
i love the color of summer
I'm so happy to have been given a chance to have this contest because hearing all your answers was the best part. It's a season everyone looks forward to and it was awesome for me to hear all you had to say.
On a sad note, I just died a little today. Found out two members (Ryan and Jon) of Panic at the Disco are leaving the band. It is a sad day.
I'm sobbing a little inside that I won't get to see them four together, ever.
