Everyday we wake up, We choose love, We choose light

Hey Guys, sorry for the sorry state of the blog and my bad job in updating and commenting on your blogs. I feel utterly gross due to the horrible weather that I've been seeing for the past couple of days. There is snow on the ground. In April. That's Canada for you, a slew of random and irregularities. This means that I refuse to take off my coat and go outside to take outfit pictures which means I have to use some sort of shitty flash photography indoors. Not that I hate flash but it really blows away details. This is another of those things that I sort of regret buying. The sleeves really bother me and I might cut them off and make it into a stretchy knit dress by stretching it a LOT. And maybe use the sleeves as tools for attacking annoying people, hah. I hope it's sunny where you live because I sure as hell am moving out of Canada as soon as I can. I'm not really Canadian in most aspects, my niceness is not overt, I do not enjoy Rick Mercer and I do not play hockey. But that's just stereotypes talking, I do however, enjoy Tim Hortons immensely. I promise to make better posts as soon as the weather gets nicer. I feel uninspired when there is no sun out.

Video of the Day: 500 Days of Summer

I want to see this movie so much. How much do I love Zooey Deschanel? I LOVE her. It makes me want to fall in love as cheesy as that is.

Bleh, it got cold again here, too. What is this crap?? I like the layering though. Nice solution to the cold spring situation.

you pull those sleeves off, I love the way you put outfits together

and another stereotype, the top of your head is connected to the bottom, very un-canadian

I know, it's so hard to get inspired when it's not sunny out; I've got the same problem! Even though I just blogged about how I will hate the sweltering sun when it comes out to burn us in the summer, sunny weather in general can really make a difference on your mood.

I love the pink dress (skirt?) you have on underneath! I think it looks lovely with the sweater although I do know what you mean about having buyer's remorse! It's the worse when you're second guessing a purchase but at least you have some DIY ideas in mind for it!

How much does our weather suck right now? I love Canada, but this is getting ridiculous. They say Thursday will be nicer though.
Lets keep our fingers crossed xx

Very pretty, I love that shade of pink with your lipstick! And the layers are so soft and romantic. Sorry about the weather - it's cold where I live too, so I'm just wearing my spring clothes indoors in defiance. Hope it clears up!
