Guy Aroch is definately one of my all time favourite photographers. His images evoke a sense of candidness and it's always as though he is observing his subjects from far away. The models are never super aware of the camera and seem to be carrying on their fabulous lives without taking a notice of his camera. There are few things that I love more than truth and honesty and although it is an absurd truth with fantastical elements, there is a great sense of relation between him and his girls. Don't know if you understood my rant about his photos but I adore his sense of light, colours and the combination of soft and hard light. I also adore how he shoots outside of a studio. If I were ever to be a photographer, I would hate shooting in the studio, standing against a blank background. There is nothing more enchanting than working with the natural lights of the day and finding obscure areas that one would not think is particularly beautiful (such as a hotel room) and finding something beautiful about it. And his subjects, their alive and they are real. I hate how sometimes heavy makeup and harsh styling combined with edgy photography can really ugly a pretty girl. It transforms her in a strange way and everything about the shoot is not relatable to me. His photos tell stories of girls falling in love at dawn with a stranger, swimming in a pool, walking across a road wearing a gown and lounging around in the sauna. It is a heightened reality but one that is different from huge novelties and great big transformations because it emotes.

Video of the Day: Flora by Gucci
Wow. This commercial blew me away. As short as it is, the lighting and the emtions really makes me want to go out an buy this perfume. A work of art by Chris Cunningham and quite different from his usual mind boggling things that make me feel uneasy. I love it.

oh.my.effin.god...those pics are HEAVENLY. I can't pick a favorite. But if I had to, I would probably pick the one of the girl in the red dress getting a taxi. Followed by the closeup of the woman with the red lips. Followed by everything else...gah! So gorgeous!!!

Hey once, you asked me "what's like living in France?"
Sorry for the late (more than a year... :/)
So... living in France can be very positive sometimes (we've got everything, fashion shops, Paris, cafés, ect... but don't live too far from a big city, or you'll be lost in countryside.)
Right now, I'd say that living in France irritates me, because French people are not patient, they are often in a bad mood, they are not that friendly (especially with foreigners).
But don't worry, sometimes I don't think as a French girl. I think more as an European girl. I very opened on the world, and I like foreigners a lot, because I'm often able to speak english with them (I absolutely love this language, I studied it at university).
If you come to France, visit Paris, of course, but also Bretagne, which is not far and very beautiful (a bit rainy though) and you can come to French Riviera too (the place where I live) which is beautiful everytime, with Mediterranean turquoise sea :D
You can also visit Aquitaine area (Bordeaux) for their French wine.
If you have more questions about France, you can ask them on my blog:

See you.
