Does anyone know the name of the artist who did this? It's absolutely stunning and one of my friends directed me to her website but I can't remember the name.
Edit: This is by artist Audrey Kawasaki

I really want to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, sounds absurdly inspirational. I cannot wait. It's funny that I am inspired by both escapism and truth.

Sorry for the lack of updates but I've been busy with life this weekend. An awesome weekend at that too. I wore the F21 Wine dress to a party I went to. I love red lips. I also wanted to show you my Aldo bag that I got a week ago before my shopping ban, hah. Excuse my face in those pictures, I look gross and am in desperate need of a haircut. I kind of want to chop it all off. Everyone at work couldn't believe I got my zipper dress from Goodwill for 6 bucks. I love it. Wearing F21 dress, Aldo bag, The Bay tights, gap shirt, Costa Blanca trench and thrifted belt, loafers and black zipper dress. OOh, I also saw Star Trek. I'm no trekkie but now I want to walk around saying live long and prosper all the time. It was kind of epic. Loafers are the perfect everyday shoe.
This is a reblog from Bakerby but only because the video is so unimaginably beautiful. I love stop motion and this is the type of thing I want to do in the summer with my camera. This is what dreams are made of.

Bringing out the awesome orange trousers again. I love life right now, and the weather. For all its gloomyness, rain does bring a certain freshness to my day and I love the moist and wet air. It's beautiful out. Taking pictures make me happy. Excuse my odd face in the 4th picture, I had no one except my hand to take these. Gap shirt, Anthropologie necklace, Trousers, jacket, shoes thrifted.

Tights from the Bay, Winners Cardi, Forever 21 Coat,
I am sort of in love with this coat. I'm seriously due for a closet clean out though and because I'm on the self imposed shopping ban, I'm going to have to think of creative new ways to wear things and recycle old things to make them new again. This is a task that I am looking forward too, it's much more interesting to sometimes learn to wear something in a new way instead of getting something new. Anyhow, enough rant for today. This outfit was described as "a lot of look" by one of my friends and along the lines of "holy colourr". I love colour! Anyhow, I'd just like to say that coats really transform an outfit. That is all.
Video of the Day: Harry Potter 6 Trailer
Holy shit. The shivers I get when I watch this trailer. The Cinematographer is done by Bruno Delbonnel who also did the amaaaaazing cinematography for Across the Universe and Amelie. I love his work. I'm going to be spending a lot of money on movies in July as 500 days of Summer is coming out 2 days later. SOOO STOKED!

Sometimes there is so much loneliness, you have to share something with someone

I wouldn't like myself either if I was a blog reader, I'm surprised people still do read this blog. Thanks for your support, I sincerely appreciate it and am kicking myself on the back because I'm not updating more. I promise to get outfit posts soon, especially seeing that I went on a Value Village 50% off rampage today and got some new exciting things. But now, I am on a self imposed shopping ban for a month, terrifying isn't it. Here are some random pictures of life.

Loose lips sink ships

I've been a bad blogger but I feel inspired again and am super pysched for the weekend. I love how 4 days weeks pass by so much quicker than 5 day ones. Anyhow, I really want to go downtown this weekend to do some thrifting and get a film slr camera. I can't believe school is almost over, its so joyous to not have to worry about anything in the summer, I love summer. Summer also means that I won't be wearing a gazillion layers so expect less layering from me, a girl who loves to layer. I'll totally be going shopping after work on Saturday, Anthropologie got some amazing new stuff. Here's an old outfit, I promise I'll update more soon. Also, I've been having enternat troubles so be patient:)

I don't feel like blogging recently so don't mind me if I take week long breaks. I'm still alive although I did almost get pulverized by a shark at our school.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I'm obsessed with this F21 dress. It's beautiful and it's coloured like wine. I want to see Blink 182 in the summer so much. Payless shoes, my awesome ripped tights, vintage bag and Forever 21 dress.

I looked like crap when I shot these but I love the pictures that came out of them. It took a lot of work so please DO NOT STEAL:D My friend Amy altered these pieces, took a LOT of work and styled it on the shoot. I have to cyber thank the three willing models Sarah, Awo and Amy because modelling is harder than you think. Some of the best fun I've had though! BTW Do get out my flickr because there are more pictures with bigger sizes and better detail.

I just got the book the Upset from Anthro and I am in love. It features young contemporary artists such as Mark Ryden, Ray Caesar and many, many others. Do check out the book if you get a chance because it definately opened my eyes to what art can be about. The last few are of Ray Caesar whose work is amazingly beautiful. Check out his website too! The strange imagery, colours are all done with absolute precision and are so complex and beautiful. Love to see an exhibition of his work someday. I'm wearing Anthropologie skirt and necklace, Nine West shoes. Sorry for not updating, some days, I like to be comfortable. Sleep deprivation does that to you. I also spent Sunday shooting an editorial type thing for my friend's art project, I'll be sure to post that up soon. The styling is tops! Oh have any of you been to the new Anthropologie yet? What do you think about it?

These pictures speak all the words that I cannot say. All of these pictures are taken by me so please do not steal them, it take a lot of time and effort for me to get them to come out like this. May 5th was some of the best times of my life, seriously. No amount of pictures can capture the moment and the vividness of it all. Their set was so amazing and when they came on, it felt like music was being pumped through my veins. My ears died of the vibrations and the guitar riffs but all in all, it was amazing. Plus, me and my bud were good pusher peoples and somehow made our way to the front and only showed up one hour before the show. A breakdown of my days when I am not inspired satorialistically. I as a blogger do not dress perfectly everyday. I simply do not have the effort or the financial means to wear everything that I'd like to. I hope you like the pictures

Douse yourself in cheap perfume, it's so, so fitting

I decided to finally get this post done, it had been itching away at me for a while. I was tagged by Rissa with an amazing penchant for taking pictures. I feel narcissistic answering away at these but I hope you enjoy nevertheless.

What is your current obsession? Um Fall Out Boy? Hah, seeing their concert yesterday made me realize how much I truly love the people in that band. More on that on a later date but I got some amazing pictures because I ended up second row on the floor.
What is your weirdest obsession? I like boys who have long hair. People always tell me that is a hair fetish and weird.
What are you wearing today? I wore comfy shorts and my sequin vest. Most days, I'm not worth documenting. I don't know how many bloggers have the effort to put on something fantastical and walk around in 6 inch heels. I'm usually too tired and too lazy for that.
Why is today special? Because everyday is special and today is the present, harhar, gouda.
What would you like to learn to do? I'd like to learn how to sew amazingly, paint like Monet, take pictures and learn how to edit, write books and poetry and make movies. There is never an absence of things to learn to do for me. Also, speak fluent French.
If you could meet a fictional character (books, movies…) who would that be? I'd very much like to meet Clementine from Eternal Sunshine, she'd be a character to talk to. I'd also want to meet Tom from the coming 500 Days of Summer and have my own elevator moment. Elevators are magical.
What’s the last thing you bought? This BEAAAAAUUTIFUL dress from F21 and amazing yellow wedges from Payless. I was bored and sick on Monday so I went to the mall. Funtimes.
What are you listening to right now? Um...Fall Out Boy? Reliving last night:D
What is your favorite weather? Spring sun and summer sunsets. Perfectly warm, not too much sunlight and just the right amount of love in the air.
What do you think about the person who tagged you? I can learn a lesson or two from her about photography.
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Paris, the most romantic city in the world. I've never been but that's what I hear.
Favorite vacation spot? I don't know, I haven't had the chance to travel a lot, maybe I'll tell you one day.
What would you like to have in your hands right now? The ability to fly, teleport and a time machine to fast forward in time and watch 500 days of summer, Harry Potter 6 and Time Traveler's Wife. And a Subway. That's good anytime.
What would you like to get rid of? Negative thoughts.
Which language do you want to learn? French. It is so beautiful when they speak it quickly. It's like melodies and raindrops and voices dancing together.
What did you dream of last night? Seeing FOB. Sorry but my past few days have revolved around the concerting experience.
One thing that you would snitch out of someone’s closet, with no regrets? A credit card with no limit that is always paid for for me? Hah, not much.
What’s your favorite piece of clothing in your closet? Clothing evolves and so do I. Currently, I adore the Stripped Sweater in the last post.
What is your dream job? Being happy and getting to work and meet amazingly talented and interesting people. The worst thing would be to end up in an office job, unhappy and mid-age. There is no more a depressing thought and many times what my days revolve around. I'm going to work hard to see that this doesn't happen and dream of taking pictures of like minded artists. Somedays I feel my heart is more at peace with taking pictures than being directly involved in fashion. Every industry is vapid in their own way I suppose.
Personal aspirations at the moment? To not waste time and to seize the day. I need to do more.
Your favourtie pet? My cat that I no longer have. Sadtimes.

I applaud you if you've made it through and read the whole thing. Text is often tedious on a blog. Here are some inspiring pictures that have been on my mind lately.

Alice is SOO stoked! I'm seeing Fall Out Boy tomorrow and being stoked involves talking about oneself in the third person. YEEHAAWW. Sorry for the lack of updates this weekend but I had such a bad fever (don't worry, I'm better now, it ain't swine flu) and crawled around in PJs. Being sick sucks. So basssically, I'm giving you an overload of pictures to satisfy until later as I will not get a chance to touch my computer or my homework tomorrow. OMG can I talk about how much I'm obsessed with this sweater now? It's like perrfection. I don't know if some of you remember but I wanted it as soon as I caught sight of it on the Athro website. What a match made in sweater heaven. It's sort of the love of my life right now. Colourful, see through and great for layering, what part of it isn't epicccc?
These shoes are impossible to wear on a daily basis, how does Karla do it? Anthropologie sweater, thrifted shirt underneath and scarf, H&M skirt, Spring shoes, Stiches lace coat.
But Of COURSE! Anyways, this song is making me even more psyched. I like singing these songs with my friends totally off tune and with the wrong lyrics.

Here is my PHERRICE friend wearing her 80's shoulder pads. I dont' think I could pull that off but it looks great on her, no? I'm so tired but I'll get at least one day this weekend to go thrifting, I'm so excited. I love nothing then the exhilaration of an amazing find, for an amazing price. Someone asked my shoes in the last post, they were of thrifted goodness and were only 4 bucks. Thank you VV! Anyhow, I'm wearing an Urban Outfitters scarf that I borrowed from my friend, converse, and Club Monaco jacket. Everything else is vintage or from a foreign country and impossible to track down. I am seriously craving some ice cream.
Wow, I totally realize that this is the 100 th post. I didn't really start blogging actually until January but sort of fumbled around with it from July to. This network is full of lovely people and definately makes my life more interesting satorially, seeing what everyone is wearing around the world. Hope you enjoy my bloggg. Btw, those of you who have tagged me. I WILL get to it soon:)
